The Phils take the first 2 games after the All-Star Break behind the pitching of Kendrick and Hamels. The Beat the Cardinals back to back by scores of 13-3 and 10-4 at home. Things are looking good as the bats are alive.

The Phillies pulled the game out 8-4 today and even helped the ground crew cover the field. The storms in Colorado the past two days have been crazy. They did drop the series 1-2. Hopefully they can get their pitching staff healthy for the second half of the season.

My child who was in 4th grade was having trouble with reading so I decided to look for qualified reading tutors. he was having trouble with sentences, paragraphs, pages and chapters. Even simple tasks became really challenging. H was also struggling with basic phonics. That was until I found SCORE!. SCORE! provided him with a fun and positive tutoring environment. They even customized their Advantage Program for him to learn at his own pace. I would definitely recommend Personal Academic Tutoring for any child.

Not only will the Home Run Derby be exciting this Monday with Ryan Howard participating (and not Barry Bonds) but it should feel like Home Run Derby in the next series with the Rockies. The starters that are going out there for both teams all have ERA’s over 4 1/2! We may end up with a few football scores.

Finding a good math tutor can be easy if you look in the right places. This post just happens to be one of the places. I want to tell you about a company called SCORE. They have tutors that helps kids from kindergarten to high school.
They even have programs aimed at certain grades liek fourth grade.
They know what your children have trouble with! Double-digit divisors, calculating perimeters and averages – fourth grade math can become a foreign language. Children still struggling with basic math concepts can easily become lost. They know that fun and engaging learning is the best way to keep your child involved. They have an Advantage Program that uses a customized interactive approach that allows your child to move through lessons at his own pace. SCORE Academic Directors are dynamic tutors who can not only answer questions, but who can also provide positive feedback and help motivate your child to keep moving forward.
If your child needs more one-on-one attention, SCORE! Personal Academic Tutoring provides the support they need. Their unique approach builds on the 16 fundamental math skills and provides extra practice in breaking down multi-step problems, so that your child will learn to love numbers again. They will work with your child to make sure double-digit divisors don’t turn into a double-digit headache.

The Phillies are 4 1/2 games out in 3rd place behind the Mets and Braves as we near the All-Star break. They are over .500 and that is great considering they have over 30 million dollars worth of Pitching on the disabled list. In fact they have lost over 30 man games alone with those 6 pitchers. Things don’t look as bad as the Philly sportscasters like to make it seem.
