The holiday season is the happiest time of the year. People come together to celebrate the holidays with family and friends in their own special ways. Many of us decorate our homes in a way that helps us express the joy we are feeling at this happy time of year. I personally enjoy stringing the lights on the outside of our home. We will only use LED Christmas lights because they use 80 to 90% less energy and still look fantastic. My children have always loved to take a ride in our car and visit different neighborhoods to look at the lights and decorations. Over the last few years we have noticed a change in a lot of the lights. Word is spreading that LED lights cost less to use and little by little our neighborhood has converted.

We have always had a real tree in our home and would never think of getting an artificial one. When we decorate the tree we use LED Christmas tree lights that look great and save us a lot of money each year. The best part about these lights is we are able to use them over and over. My wife uses a few strings to light our basement year round. Our family is very conscious of the environment and we like to help out where we can.

The baseball season is finally over and the Red Sox are the champs. The series was pretty much a total wash for the Rockies. They just couldn’t get their act together. They were just one step behind the Sox and never caught up. I’m happy that Boston has another championship team to cheer. At least it wasn’t the Yankees.

My garage is where I do all my handy man jobs around the house. I am not very well organized and need to purchase some cabinets to store my tools and supplies. I have found a site that has a nice selection to choose from. garage cabinets has every kind
of storage cabinet you could imagine. I particularly like the drawers on wheels. The pricing is competitive and there is something for everyone who needs help getting organized.

The Eagles avoided a knockout punch to their playoff hopes today. They couldn’t have had a better team to play against than the hapless Vikings. The Birds actually put two touchdowns on the board this week. They need to continue this next week when the Cowboys come to town. This week was a much better effort except for the on side kick the Vikings pulled off. Come on Andy….You know Brad was going to try something special today…afterall you him.

We are getting ready to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms in our home. The number one choice in faucets is Delta. The contractor we are using suggested we check out the entire inventory of Delta Faucets on faucets.com. They have all the latest styles available from Delta. You can click on each picture review all the details on each item. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is truly remarkable. You can match your faucets to the sinks and bathtubs available on the site. The whole process is easy and should save a lot of time in the remodeling process. Delta is our first choice and having all of these products on one site really helps.

Wow! The Patriots are this good? They are on a record pace in scoring points this year! Next week they face off against the unbeaten Colts. 6-0 vs. 6-0. The Patriots will be favored by probably 7-10 points. That should be a NFL classic!

The Rockies are running out of steam. They have run into a Red Sox team that is on a mission and has the experience to pull off the sweep. You can see in the faces of the Rockies players that they are over matched. They have the desire and will to win but at this time of the year the abiltiy to win comes down to experience. The Sox have it right now and the Rockies will take this experience and ust it to their advantage in the coming years. Look how long it took the Red Sox to get to where they are. They added a piece of the puzzle for many years until they came up with the right combination of players. The Rockies are no that far off.

The Red Sox took it to the Rockies 10-5 as Schilling pitched a great game. He is looking for Ring #3. The Red Sox bullpen closed the door and this game was routine. It is what the Red Sox did all year to opponents. They are about to sweep the Rockies and win their second title in 4 years.

There will be a game 7 as the Red Sox have come back to force a game 7 in the Series. The Rockies swept the D’Backs and are on a historic run. They have been sitting for 5 days now with no one to play. Can you say rust?
