The Flyers lost their fourth game in a row at home tonight. The Bruins out played them the entire game. This is beginning to look a lot like last year when the team just didn’t bring it every night. The Flyers head home for a game against the Bruins Monday night after a big win in Ottawa. Look for Marty Biron to back in goal after a night off. Boston is a good match up againg the Flyers and it should be a tough game with a lot of hitting. The Flyers played what I consider their best effort of the year. The Senators are the best the NHL has to offer this year and the Flyers out played them for 60 minutes. The Flyers were energized from the start and finally out shot an opponent. They had 41 shots for the game and kept the pressure on through out the game. Danny Briere had another great effort with a goal and two assists. Mike Richards added another goal. Just a fine effort by the Flyers.

The Flyers played their day after Thanksgiving game and were flat as usual. They went down 3-0 before the turkey started to wear off. They ame back and tied it late in the third period to force overtime and pick up a point but that wasn’t enough as the Caps pulled it out. The Caps had just fired their coach and have the worst record in the NHL but that didn’t stop the Flyers from letting them come into our building and beating us. Next up Ottawa on Saturday night. The Sens have the best record in the league and it should be a good test for the Flyers. Hopefully the turkey will have worn off and we can get back to winning some hockey games.
