The Kings came to town winless on the road. They left after ending the 76ers 4 game winning streak. A good 2nd half enabled them to pull away from the Sixers to get the road win. The Flyers visited Denver last night for the first time in years. They came away with a 2-1 loss in what was a pretty well played game. The local news media is stating that the Philadelphia area needs to give Ed Stefanski time to redo the 76ers organization. Being an avid sports fan I have learned that anyone in a lead position on Philly sports team is given a period of time to make their plan work. The Flyers played another good road game an came away with a win last night. This despite th referee’s blowing their whistles every time a Flyer looked the wrong way. The Wild had two 5 on 3 power plays and a total of eight for the game but could only muster 1 goal. The Flyers seem to play a much simpler game on the road and won for the 4th time in a row. I wish they played that simple at home. We’re in Colorado on Friday.
