Astros for Three
April 16th, 2008 . by joeAfter taking 2 of 3 from the Cubs over the weekend the Phillies had Monday off. They will start a 3 game series with the Houston Astros tonight and will send Adam Eaton to the mound for his third start of the season. So far Eaton has pitched pretty well but you can’t help but hold your breath every time he starts to the mound. In my opinion he is a total waste of time as a starting pitcher and probably wouldn’t be much of a reliever. He just doesn’t have what it takes to succeed in the big leagues. Hopefully the Phillies will have had a good day of rest and will come out swinging. They really miss Jimmy Rollins in the line-up and need to get him back to give them the spark at the top of the line-up.
