Not only will the Home Run Derby be exciting this Monday with Ryan Howard participating (and not Barry Bonds) but it should feel like Home Run Derby in the next series with the Rockies. The starters that are going out there for both teams all have ERA’s over 4 1/2! We may end up with a few football scores.
There will be fireworks tonight at Citizens Bank park after the Phillies game. The Phils are taking on the Reds in game 3 of the series. Adam Eaton will start for the Phils. he has been roughed up lately so he really needs a good outing tonight. It is supposed to rain, so we will see if the rain holds off for the fireworks.
Thats the ERA of our starter against the Reds on Friday. The good thing is he probably can’t do much worst. The bad thing is J.D. Durbin just might. He promised the Twins he would get better, right after that he was put on waivers. Get ready for the Hollywood ending here in Philadelphia.
I really hope the Phillies take care of business with the Reds starting tomorrow. I have tickets for the June 18th fireworks game. Unfortuanetly Adam Eaton is pitching! Either he is going to pitch 7 innings of shutout ball or he will get lit up for 12 runs. I should get ready to catch Griffey’s 585th homerun ball now.
