I doubt it but the phillies have their name in the hunt for Mark Buehrle. We haven’t had any real luck trading or signing pitchers for this Park so I say we wont get him. We will have no problem throwing money out the window but he is crazy if he comes here.
The Phillies need more pitching help. There is no way Lieber, Eaton and Garcia are going to cut it this year. Once again the Phillies went cheap on talent and high on the price tag. These three are going to make 25 million this year! The erratic Lidge needs a new home but the Phillies just dont have the trade bait right now at least.
Wouldn’t it be nice? It seems that Mark Buehrle could be available at midseason for the Phillies to pick up. The only problem is who are the Phillies willing to part with? Will the Phils have enough value in the lineup? We will see.
